Gov. Palin to help Christian school in PA with fundraisers

It was announced today that Sarah Palin will headline two events for a Christian School in Bucks County, Pennsylvania next month. According to The Reporter, a newspaper serving Lansdale, PA:
Palin will speak on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Plumstead Christian School’s Founders Forum.

“We are honored and thrilled that (former) Governor Palin will speak with our students and parents,” PCS Head of School Patrick Fitzpatrick said in a prepared statement.

Palin will speak to PCS elementary, junior high and high school students that afternoon, and will also speak at a fundraising dinner to benefit the school at the Cock ‘N Bull Restaurant at Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, before delivering a Founders Forum address and answering questions from PCS students, with a tribute to military veterans and performances by student musicians, at the school’s Plumsteadville campus.

“Our Founders Forum is designed to bring Christian leaders to our school who will challenge out students and community with a message that reinforces our school’s mission to educate our students to think biblically, serve effectively and lead Christ-centered lives,” Fitzpatrick said.

“We’re confident that Palin’s message will accomplish this,” he added.

“We expect the governor will challenge our students to live out their Christian faith, to be productive citizens, and to engage the ideas in our nation that are challenging our Christian heritage,” said PCS Chancellor Dean Whiteway.

“While this is not a political event, we all recognize Palin’s influence in shaping the direction of our nation,” he said.
For more information about this event, call the school at (215) 766-8073 or visit the PCS website here.

Gov. Palin will be helping another faith-based educational institution, Lubbock Christian School in Texas, with its fundraising efforts in January.
