ReplyDeleteI bear no ill will toward Texas Fred. He used to look more favorably upon Sarah, but he seemed to me to go around the bend when she resigned. He's convinced that Sarah resigned because she "couldn't handle the pressure of office." It's a rare gift to be able to read minds like that and learn people's true motivations first hand.
ReplyDeleteI tried to tell the truth about her resigning because paid Democrap operatives had clogged up the exec branch of AK state gove. and ran up huge bills to the taxpayer and the Palins. but Fred doesn't want to hear it and banned me.
But, shoot, even that doesn't make me hate him, because it's his website, and he can run it any way he wants to, just as I run mine any way I choose to. I pray God protects and blesses him with good health, wealth and happiness.
Some of Fred's commenters in that ol' boy network, however, I have to wonder about. Them good ol' boys seem to think that them PSM-in' wimmin' can't run nary anything but a Speed Queen washer/dryer combo. Guess they never done heared of Maggie Thatcher and Golda Meir (but I got me a sneekin' suzpisshun that one of them two wimminfolk might be of the jooooo wish pershawzun).

I've been thinking about the whole 'quitter" tag. To retreat in the face of momentarily overwhelming and fatal odds seems a might reasonable to me. To regroup, resupply, rearm and recommit is a winning formula in any battle not yet finished were your opponent is high fiving at the "O" club with not sentries posted.
