Grant Ellis: Mitt Romney Votes "Present" in NY-23

On the American Thinker Blog, Grant Ellis' post is quite succinct regarding Mitt Romney's decision not to make any endorsement at all in the NY-23 race:
What does this say about Mitt? When balanced against Sarah Palin's political courage, it seems telling. Sarah is a political alpha, a leader for the future. Mitt... is almost certainly not.

You have to look no further to see why conservatives are so passionate about their support for Palin.

Regardless of the outcome of NY23, Palin wins. She drives debate. She leads.

  2. I tell you Josh, if Slick Mitt Romney is the '12 candidate, we are going to go down in flames, a preset to TOTUS for another four years....his cadre of idiots, notwithstanding (Noonan, Murphy, Wallace, Schmidt, Parker, Brooks, Will, Frum, Meghan McCain, et al)

  3. I'd like to see her make a quick little trip to upstate NY and say a few Reagan-Palinesque words of encouragement to the constituency...just as icing on the cake, mind. With many cameras present.

  4. Don't forget, Mitt also endorsed McDonnell yesterday. Takes real courage and leadership to wait and endorse someone when they have a double digit lead.

Mitt's new slogan: I'll jump in at the last minute as long as it looks like you're winning by a landslide. That way you get my endorsement, and I don't risk anything except looking foolish.
