Why so anxious, Senator?

Via the Hill's Blog Briefing Room and Michael O'Brien:
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's (R) inevitable stories about disagreements within last fall's presidential campaign worry Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) the most, the senator said Thursday.

The former Republican presidential nominee said he is looking forward to his running mate's book overall, except for potential revelations of infighting with the campaign that was long rumored, and in fact alluded to in the title of Palin's new memoir, "Going Rogue."

[...]

He praised his former running mate as qualified to be president one day, adding: "Yes, I think Sarah Palin will play a significant role in the Republican Party in the future."
Actually, we don't think McCain has much to be worried about. Sarah Palin has always been loyal to her former running mate, and we doubt that she would open a can of Angry Mama Bear on the Senator. Besides, she has always kept Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment.

Some of McCain campaign underlings, however, may not and should not, in our opinion, escape the wrath of Sarah. Not only do they deserve to be called out for their back-stabbing of the former governor who was their vice-presidential candidate, they cannot be trusted to work for another political campaign, period.
