Publication of Matthew Continetti's Palin book moved up

Sentinel, the Penguin imprint for Matthew Continetti's forthcoming book The Persecution Of Sarah Palin, has moved up the release date from February of 2010 to November 12, 2009 to coincide with the publication of Palin's own memoir. According to a Penguin e-mail:
"Continetti, the associate editor of The Weekly Standard, shows that because Palin was a strong and popular conservative with traditional values, Washington Democrats and their allies in the so-called 'mainstream media' decided she had to be destroyed. His book details how these elite liberals attacked her in ways that no previous candidate had ever experienced. Everything from her clothing to her parenting style to her church were fair game, and no rumor was too malicious to spread."
Penguin has to be worried that what bombshells Sarah Palin will drop in her memoir will overshadow any revelations Continetti will make in his book, so it plans to release Persecution five days ahead of Rogue's scheduled release date. Continetti's publisher is promising that its book "will surprise people with its fresh details about Palin and the 2008 campaign."

  1. I'm looking forward to both books, and I'm sure the media is too. They need fresh material to work with. Levi just ain't cuttin it any more.
Sarah Palin is the hottest star in the Conservative camp and supporters will grow as long as she continues to stand firm in her beliefs. Liberals fear her and those Republicans who oppose her are the same ones that got us into the current mess we're in.

  2. At amazon you can buy both Going Rogue and Persecution for $32.78. Persecution is #128,975, which still beats out Romney's pre-release book due out in January.

  3. The media and the kooks on the left are going to need a lot more then Tina Fey and Levi Johnston in order to go after Sarah Palin.
