More Quote of the Day Honorable Mention, Part 118

*
"Tokyo Rove" Edition...

Michelle Malkin:
"Tokyo Rove... That’s what one listener just called Karl Rove on the Sean Hannity show."
Steve Poling at Poling Place:
"Charles Krauthammer (and by extension Karl Rove)... have been making intemperate remarks that are supplying material to the Democrats with which to attack conservative candidates in the up-coming election... Both targets are conservative women who have defeated the GOP establishment cronies. Both have received the endorsement of Mrs. Sarah Palin. (Mr. [Joe] Miller of Alaska has not received similar treatment.) Both are women. Do Ms. O'Donnell and Ms. Angle remind Mr. Krauthammer [and Mr. Rove] of Sarah Palin? ... Palin Derangement By Proxy may explain a lot of recent commentary by our masters in the GOP ruling class."
Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit:
"Sarah Palin told Bill O’Reilly... that insiders like Karl Rove don’t think Christine O’Donnell will win because they don’t want her to win. Sarah went on to clobber Rove for attacking the Delaware conservative."
Mike Fahy at Blithe Spirit:
"Miracles have become commonplace for Palin-endorsed Conservatives. Christine O’Donnell clobbered liberal Michael Castle, the political twin of Mark Kirk (RINO, IL), in Delaware’s Republican Senate primary, 53 percent to 47 percent. Karl Rove bashed winner Christine O’Donnell as his entrenched RINO went down... Karl Rove’s idiotic rant against Christine O’Donnell’s victory will undoubtedly appear in a Chris Coons campaign commercial. Obviously, RINOs are more comfortable electing a Liberal Democrat than electing a Palin-endorsed Conservative Republican."
Keith Burgess-Jackson:
"Goodbye, Karl Rove. Hello, Sarah Palin."
sharmajee at Pumas 4 Palin:
"The magic of Sarah Palin continues with the triumph of Christine O’Donnell over a septuagenarian, life long, career politician. An accomodationist lost to a Sarah favored newbie... Sarah Palin carries clout, and she exercises it well. So much so even the great Karl Rove and Michael Barone were miffed... Those who ignore Sarah Palin do so at their own peril, it’s her personal clout that’s at work here in America today. So, what could the admirers of Sarah do at this point? Follow her lead and help O’Donnell Win one for the Grizzlies."
William A. Jacobson at Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion:
"Once again, the mainstream media and left-wing blogosphere -- including liberal feminists -- are sexualizing a conservative female candidate. They obsessed over Sarah Palin's breast size, and now they are obsessing over whether Christine O'Donnell... has had sex."
Michael Reagan at Townhall.com:
"Both the RINOS and their Democratic counterparts have been showing sneering contempt for the voters for a long time and they are about to pay dearly for it... The contempt they exhibit for such outstanding Republicans as Sarah Palin and South Carolina's Sen. Jim DeMint is not shared by the great majority of Republicans who admire these outstanding patriots for speaking out in favor of traditional American values in the face of vehement opposition from the Left wings of both parties whose views are closer to those of Karl Marx than to those of Abraham Lincoln."
Stacy McCain at The American Spectator Blog:
"The ferocity of some attacks on O'Donnell may... reflect the resentment of Romney supporters toward the success of yet another Palin-endorsed candidate in an early 2012 primary state."
Moneyrunner at The Virginian:
"George Bush as Hitler... Sarah Palin as Hitler... This is the Left, unvarnished, unfiltered by the MSM. These are Obama's natural allies. These are the ones who now call the Tea Party demonstrators racists and fascists, scary kooks and the American Taliban wanting to turn the US into a theocracy. They are the ones who did not get onto the pages of the Virginian Pilot, the NY Times or the Washington Post when Bush was president because they were an 'inconvenient truth.' They are the ones roaming the halls of congress and the White House today and the reason that the people are revolting at the ballot box."
David K at Refuse the Juice:
"Calling a 'hockey mom' everything but the 'C-word' might have been a bad idea. More women identify with the likes of Sarah Palin than they do of Hilary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi... It's obvious that the elite democrats don't understand the average American at all and it's become a game changer."
Nick Stone at Drawnlines Politics:
"Sarah Palin has cultivated alliances between herself and influential Republicans in the four early primary states so crucial to capturing a party nomination. All of these victories place Palin in a strong position as Republicans shift their focus from the midterms to defeating President Obama in the next cycle. Early wins in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina would make Palin unbeatable by other Republicans. If these candidates win in November, they will be huge allies as Palin seeks the ultimate GOP nomination in 2012."
Alex Spillius at telegraph.co.uk:
"Christine O'Donnell's victory in Delaware confirmed that an endorsement from Sarah Palin can be gold dust to a struggling Tea Party pioneer, so powerful is the former vice-presidential candidate's popularity among staunch conservatives."
Jim Putnam at The Coltons Point Times:
"Palin has demonstrated over and over again that her connection is with the voters, especially those who are disenfranchised by both political parties and who are swelling the rolls of the Independent movement in America. It is a fact the media has missed. Each time a Palin backed underdog won, that person has gone on to launch a formidable campaign and is winning or competitive in the upcoming general election."
The Boston Herald:
"U.S. Sen. John Kerry yesterday mocked Republicans as 'Sarah Palin’s party' ... 'Kerry is the guy whose political instincts are always wrong. This guy’s presidential campaign was a punch line,' [Glenn] Reynolds said."

  1. Hey, since my Gmail account (primary for the blog) was hacked, I had to delete the Blogger blog. Thank God I backed up the whole thing; Google has been on it, but Blogger is sluggish. It's frustrating indeed that this can't be fixed.

So I moved to WordPress. It looks crappy, but I bought a book that's really good and will help me configure the layout as likable as I can.
