Amie Parnes at Politico's Click blog reports that Sarah and Todd Palin showed up at Tammy Haddad's annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner brunch on Saturday:

The former vice presidential candidate was immediately enveloped by a large crowd on a patio after making her entrance with Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren. Palin spent some time posing for pictures with both Dems and R's alike.

Haddad, formerly executive producer of Chris Matthews' ratings-challenged "Hardball" program on MSPDS, started her own production company called Haddad Media after leaving the extreme left wing network in 2007. She has been hosting her annual garden brunch since 1993 at her home on the Potomac River on the day of the correspondents' dinner, but this year moved the event to a larger venue, the historic Beall-Washington house.

Gov. Palin won't be attending the dinner, as she will be tonight's keynote speaker at a Heroic Media fundraiser in Bethesda, Maryland. But Clan Palin will be represented at the annual media shindig by daughter Bristol, who will be a guest of People Magazine.
