The Speech: September 3, 2008

It was one year ago today that Sarah Palin delivered her acceptance speech to the RNC convention. Interesting how history has confirmed her predictions about Barack Obama.

"When the cloud of rhetoric is past, when the roar of the crowd fades away, when the stadium lights go out and those styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot -- when that happens, what exactly is our opponent's plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish... after he's done turning back the waters and healing the planet? The answer is to make government bigger and take more of your money and give you more orders from Washington and reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world."

  1. Thanks Josh,

I've listened to this speech multiple times, and this is what always amazed me. She laid it out, for the world to see. Yet many chose to disregard her warnings.

In my spirit, Sarah is already my president. But I won't rest until she's the POTUS (if that's what she wants).

Just trying to survive the current nightmare. O's days are numbered.

  2. The grassroots tea party activists want her to be a leader to the movement. I think she is making a big mistake by ignoring it. Reagan was a grassroots conservative. He built and solidified his power base. I know she's finishing her book, but when opportunity knocks, it is suppose to be answered.
