2. Running for Governor of Alaska against the Republican establishment, and then pursuing the ethical reforms the meant that several of them were jailed.
3. Resigning as Governor of Alaska to ensure that the State apparatus could properly function.
4. Choosing to keep Trig.
This is why I maintain that Palin is a woman of substance and virtue. I believe that she has demonstrated consistently over time a very high degree of moral courage and character. Is there anything in Obama's career that might correspond to even one of the above? Whereas there are several things that point in a different direction..."
