Kathleen Parker thinks Hamilton 'wrote the constitution'

Disturbing...
*
Faux conservative Kathleen Parker, who has repeatedly accused Sarah Palin of being "ignorant," claimed on CNN's prime time ratings disaster "Parker-Spitzer" that Alexander Hamilton came to the U.S. illegally and drafted the Constitution:
"Let's remember...a lot of Americans did come through the back door such as Alexander Hamilton. He got off the boat from the West Indies, and all he did was write the Constitution and become the first Secretary of the Treasury."
Actually, it was James Madison who drafted the Constitution, and Hamilton landed in New York City in 1774, when New York was still a colony of the British crown. So he was hardly an illegal immigrant who "came in through the back door."

We find Parker's ignorance of American History... disturbing. She "don't know diddly." And speaking of Bo Diddly, he wrote a song about that kind of hypocrisy...
