According to The Daytona Beach News Journal, Sarah Palin's book signing has been rescheduled from Saturday, Feb. 13 to Monday, Feb. 15:
Sarah Palin -- who was slated to sign copies of her book "Going Rogue" in Daytona Beach this weekend -- will instead be autographing on Monday morning. At 9 a.m. Friday, the store will begin distributing 900 wristbands (one per person) at the street entrance of the bookstore. Only two books per wristband can be signed by Gov. Palin due to time limitations.
There are also more tickets available to hear her speak at a Chamber of Commerce dinner that night.
The former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee will now be at the Volusia Mall Books-A-Million signing books from noon to 3 p.m. Monday.
Just four hours after the book signing event concludes, Sarah Palin will address the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce's dinner Monday night, 7 PM at the Ocean Center.
In response to "overwhelming" demand for tickets to her speech, the Chamber has increased the number of passes available to include 2,000 to 3,000 mezzanine seats in the Ocean Center's main arena, but the $40 tickets do not include the meal. If you want to purchase mezzanine seats, call Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.

Makes more sense to do the signing next Monday rather than Saturday, in which case she'd be having her event at the same time Danica Patrick will be racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway. This way, Sarah fans who are also race fans won't have to choose which to attend.
ReplyDeleteToday I attempted to catch up with other blogs for Palin. Imagine my surprise to find I am unwelcome at Patlin Twibe. I posted my google account etc. and got a message I am not invited. I have visited before and left a comment. I have no idea how I offended them but I definitely got the message that My presence is not wanted. Has this blogger group become so divided that members are unwelcome?
ReplyDeletePat, Palin Twibe just recently had a change in ownership which involved shutting the blog down and restarting it again. Give them time to pick up all the pieces, and then try again.
