Gov. Palin will speak at National Conservative Symposium

*
Former Governor Sarah Palin heads a line-up of conservative speakers -- including Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin and Kevin Jackson -- for the three-day National Conservative Symposium for January 22nd - 24th at Hyatt Regency's Hill Country Resort in San Antonio.

According to event sponsor Tea Party Support, the symposium "will bring together conservative grass-roots leaders and community organizers from across America at one of the nation’s premiere resorts for a weekend of intense discussion, education and training":
"The objective of the Symposium is to inspire and empower conservative activists to take back their political party and to take the country back to constitutional governance and fiscal responsibility by organizing for political action in their local communities and then projecting their voice and actions all the way to Washington, DC."

"In breakout sessions and special training seminars, attendees also will hear from a variety of experts and be exposed to the latest techniques and methods of networking and grass-roots organizing, including discussions of the proper way to contact neighbors and discuss issues. Attendees also will have a chance to learn about and get hands-on experience with cutting edge technology, and they will gain access to data-rich information systems heretofore unavailable to local grass-roots organizations."
In a telephone conversation this morning, Saundra Hadley of Tea Party Support told Bloggers for Sarah Palin member and Sarah Palin's Accomplishments editor Ron Devito that Gov. Palin, who will be in Texas in January campaigning for Gov. Rick Perry's reelection bid, was booked for the event through the Washington Speakers Bureau. Jennifer Ramirez-Jasiczek, another representative for Tea Party Support, told San Antonio's Express-News that Gov. Perry will "make a few remarks" and introduce former Gov. Palin at the Sunday session scheduled for Jan. 24th at 9:00 AM.

The former Alaska governor is without question strengthening her ties to the Tea Party movement. She has also been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the National Tea Party Convention, set for February in Nashville.
