From the TEA Party Nation Website:
First National Tea Party Convention
February 4-6, 2010
Opryland Hotel Nashville, TN

Tea Party Nation is pleased to announce the First National Tea Party Convention. The convention is aimed at bringing the Tea Party Movement leaders together from around the nation for the purpose of networking and supporting the movements' multiple organizations principle goals. This event will be co-sponsored by other national groups that believe in a responsible and limited federal government that is responsive to all the people. National Taxpayers Union, American Majority, Smart Girl Politics, and SurgeUSA are just a few of the organizations contributing their talents and time to this convention.

Special Keynote Speaker for the event will be Sarah Palin, Governor of
Alaska (2006-2009) and 2008 Republican Vice Presidential Nominee.

The convention will feature well known speakers, workshops, seminars, information centers, and organizational tools for leaders to take back to their respective local Tea Party organizations.

We are giving Tea Party leaders the first opportunity to purchase convention tickets before opening registration up to the general public.

* A portion of the Convention ticket price will go to form the TPN PAC which will be dedicated to finding and supporting Traditional American candidates in the future.

Website information coming soon!
Since Nashville has more than one "Opryland" hotel, we checked, and the event is at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. We also found a tentative agenda here.

Look out Palin-haters. Once The Arctic Fox and the TEA Party movement join forces and start coordinating, the Obamunist media, the radical left wing and the Vichy Republicans are going to be in a world of hurt.

  1. Josh, I love the last 2 lines of this article. I also agree with you 150%. Thanks for covering this.

  2. So much for Dick Armey saying she doesn't have much support in the Tea Party movement!

Hope they rent a large venue just for the night of her speech and open it up to the public and sell tickets. They could make some extra money that way.

Also, I hope FOX covers the convention and broadcasts Sarah's speech live - like they did with Rush at CPAC last year.

  3. JP and IR - your postings are awesome, erudite and incisive! I count myself as a "modest" Tea Party attendee, having only been to three (and a Town Hall meeting). There has been no other potential candidate talked about in my presence other than Sarah Palin. Dick Armey, where have you been? certainly not talking to the people in the crowds. I surely agree with "thirtynine". JP, I consider the last two lines of your posting as "sooth"!
