Palin Product Boom Causes Liberal Gloom

Politico Click's Anne Schroeder Mullins reports that CafePress.com, which hawks bumper stickers, t-shirts and all sorts of political products, is experiencing "a huge increase" in Palin products:
There are close to one million (960,000 to be exact) Palin items available. Palin is in a league all her own as compared to the 685,000 items for Hillary Clinton and mere 386,000 for Vice President Joe Biden. (You know that has to kill him.)
Mullins says the trend should continue as the former governor begins to seriously promote her book. And speaking of Going Rogue, it is #2 on Amazon.com's Bestsellers list, and it has been in the top 100 for 43 days, even though it hasn't even been released yet.

It's enough to make a liberal whine, and that's exactly what they are doing, says Don Surber:
Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, Bill O’Reilly, Ann Coulter, Beck, Palin and the rest have sold tons of books this year... And the left is wetting itself over this.

The Huffington Post asked: “Should The New York Times create a separate bestseller list for conservative blockbusters? Think of the history: we have a children’s bestseller list because of “Harry Potter” — Harry was knocking adult books off the top spots on the hardcover fiction list so publishers complained. The same thing must be true for Beck, Palin, Cheney, Bush (George W. and Laura), Malkin and others.”
Surber's money quote:
"It is so tough to be someone’s intellectual superior when he is out-reading you."
Surber's right. This is sweet.

  1. If they created a best sellers list for liberal books, there wouldn't be anything on there. From looking at the 100 bestsellers of the year at B&N it looks like only Ted Kennedy and one book about 0bama would be on the liberal list.

CafePress items related to Mitt, Huck, Pawlenty and Gingrich combined comes nowhere near the Palin items.

That's one of the reason why I find all these polls showing Palin's favorable ratings only in the 40 percent range rather strange, #1 best selling book, huge turnouts for every event she goes to, 35 books written about her, with many of them having pretty respectable sales, and the politician most written about online, she was picked as one of the most admired and respected mothers during a mothers day poll this past spring, and last Dec she was the 2nd most admired woman in the country behind Hillary, there's a real disconnect there somewhere.

  2. FYI, Mitt Romney has 2,764 followers with 88 Tweets... Oh, and he's pro-life today. Be afraid, be very, very afraid...LOL!

O/T: Did you catch the Obama speech today? He cited the same Abraham Lincoln quote Governor Palin used while giving her speech to the troops at her church before they depoyed to Iraq, a few years ago. A Youtube clip of that speech she gave was all over the place during last year's election and the liberal's tried to smear her as some sort of "zealot" because of it.
When I heard Obama use that same line I about fell out of my chair.
