Neuman: Palin book tour will look like a presidential bid launch

*
Johanna Neuman, who shares Top of the Ticket blogging duties with our friend Andrew Malcolm at the LA Times, says that Sarah palin's Going Rogue book tour will look a lot like the launch of a presidential bid:
Palin returns to the place where she earned that title, parting company with the decision by Republican John McCain's presidential campaign to write off Michigan, conceding the economically depressed state to Democrat Barack Obama.

Like any good presidential campaign, Palin's book tour will be conducted from a bus painted with the cover of the book and will be making two to three stops a day.

The rest of the book tour mimics an announcement schedule for a presidential candidate, taking Palin to places she is likely to attract friendly book buyers -- and voters.
The bloggers at Hillbuzz agree. Read their post "Sarah Palin launches presidential campaign disguised as book tour" here.

  1. One thing about Sarah- she is a master politician; her instincts have told her to start locking up her "true beleivers" now. As much as I like her, she will have a tough time beating Mitt Romney because of his ability to come across as a business superstar. Romney though frankly makes me sick for one reason- the man will change any of his positions to suit any election at any time. Take a look at his record in Massachusetts to see why he was considered "one of us" by at least half of the Democrats in this most liberal state when he was governor. Sarah's guts and ability to not pack off will help her in 2012.
