Quote of the Day (July 26, 2009)

*
Glenn Reynolds makes an interesting observation. Though one of the least accurate of all the polls, the latest ABC/WaPo survey has 53 Percent viewing Sarah Palin unfavorably. Meanwhile, the lastest from the more accurate Rasmussen shows President Obama's disapproval to be at 51%. So within the margins of error of both polls, the president is:
"...in a statistical tie with Sarah Palin."

  1. Wow... and we know who's numbers will be going up and who's will be going down.

  2. Sarah and those around her must understand that she has an uphill climb. She shouldn't be in denial about that. Neither should we. Much is going to hinge on whether she has the courage to break from the "anti-populism" mindset of the contemporary GOP. This will be much easier said than done and will entail actually breaking w/the GOP Hierarchy. It's going to come down to wheter Sarah takes the high road of raising her own funds and rejecting GOP funding w/strings attached. This is very doable if she plays her cards right. In fact, Sarah is in a very enviable position, in my view. DD
