Sarah causes a stir in Auburn, New York

Alaska Gov. Sarah has already head a full day in Auburn New York in advance of Saturday's Founder's Day celebration there, and today's doings were not even on any announced schedule.

Covered by The Citizen and the Post-Standard, the governor had breakfast at Bistro One on Market Street in downtown Auburn this morning "with supporters from all across Central New York."

Also this morning, Gov. Palin toured the Harriet Tubman House and met with the Tubman House staff. One of Harriet Tubman's descendants, Adrienne, who blogs at Motivation Truth, spent the morning with the Sarah Palin and posted about it here.

After Harriet Tubman House,  it was on to Seneca Falls to visit the National Women's Hall of Fame and Women's Rights National Historic Park. The governor and her group stopped for lunch and to chat with diners at the Downtown Deli in Seneca Falls, her last planned public stop of the day.

Saturday, Gov. Palin will participate in Founders Day parade (which gets under way at 11:00 AM), speaking at a noon city hall ceremony and attending a private fundraiser for the Seward House.

Sunday, she will take part in a walk for autism awareness in Westchester County and receiving an award in in Suffolk County from yhe Independent Group Home Living Foundation for her support of families who have children with special needs.

Lots of good phots at all of the links in this post.
