"Much is being made about the request for two unopened bottles of water and bendable straws, the specifications for lecterns and skirts for tables and the rather specific demands for types of aircraft and motor vehicle transportation. All of these requests and others in those six pages strike me as reasonable. That Palin's name never appears in the document (she's referred to throughout as 'Speaker') leads me to believe that her requests are boilerplate language used for just about everyone represented by the Washington Speakers Bureau, which was handling the Cal State gig for Palin. They are the minimum, believe me."- JP
