U.S. Senate Candidate Eagar to Attend Sarah Palin book signing

Cherilyn Eagar, who is challenging Bob Bennett of Utah in the GOP primary for his seat in the U.S. Senate, says that she is looking forward to meeting with Sarah Palin when the 2008 Republican VP candidate makes a book tour stop in Salt Lake City next week:
Governor Palin will make one stop in Utah on her book tour, signing copies at the Salt Lake City Costco on December 9th, from noon to 3:00 pm. Cherilyn Eagar, dubbed 'Utah's Sarah Palin' by local media, will be there to support Palin's book tour and looks forward to meeting the former Alaska chief executive.

Eagar says, 'It’s time for conservative women to be given a voice in Congress, women who will speak to our values. After all, the majority of health care decisions are made by women. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota has been a great spokeswoman for these issues, as has Phyllis Schlafly, the First Lady of the Conservative Movement.' Schlafly’s Eagle Forum PAC has endorsed Eagar’s campaign.

'Governor Palin's election as vice president would have added a new and powerful voice for conservative women, for conservatism in general and for the traditional family values that most Utahns cherish. We are so pleased she is coming here to Utah.'

The 'Eagar to Support Sarah Palin' group will meet in the parking lot of Costco's 1800 South 300 West location next Wednesday at 11:00 am. To join the fans, RSVP to CYoung@Eagar4Senate.com.

  1. That's cool. I've heard about Cherilyn Eager from some friends in Utah who are fed up with Bob Bennett.
