Weekly Standard editor working on Palin biography

Weekly Standard associate editor Matthew Continetti is writing a biography of Gov. Sarah Palin to be published by Penguin's conservative Sentinel imprint in 2010.

Titled The Persecution of Sarah Palin, the book will be, according to WritersReps.com, "a defense of the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate who became an inspirational sensation for her party, only to be unfairly demonized by the media, the Democrats, and her own campaign."

  1. Weekly Standard has been reasonably supportive of Sarah. Its probably the only conservative flagship magazine which could back her without hesitation.

  2. I agree, Kristol, probably lost his job at the Times column in part because of it. He was one of the talent scouts that 'found her' along with Hanson & Bolton and Nordlinger, fine company to be in.
