Some early reaction to Gov. Palin's weekend in NY

There's another full day remaining on her schedule, but Gov. Palin's weekend in News York State has alread produced quite a bit of reaction, most all of it positive. Here is just a sampling...

Newsday:

"She's definitely a player," said Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford), who plans to attend Sunday night's event. "She has a real strong base of support."
Prairie Pundit:
Sarah Palin can still get an enthusiastic reception even in hostile territory like New York. which has not had [the] good sense to vote for a Republican in a long time.
The New Agenda:
Obama has been to Turkey, Cairo, Germany and France- but has he gone to Seneca Falls to the Women’s hall of Fame, the Waterwall and the Tubman home- all sites dedicated to women- I doubt it. That’s why it is important to abandon political agendas and simply support women...
Gateway Pundit:
20,000 New Yorkers turned out in Auburn to get a glimpse of Governor Sarah Palin today. The Alaskan Governor was a huge hit in this small New York town.
Gathering of Eagles: NY:
Auburn was the home of Secretary of State William Seward, who, in 1867, arranged the purchase of Alaska from Russia. Though widely derided by Democrats at the time, the purchase has turned out to have been an astute move securing untold resources for the United States. It certainly provided one of our most popular governors.
Rochester Homepage:
Palin also delivered huge crowds. She helped turn the first ever Founder's Day celebration into one of the biggest parades Auburn has ever seen.
Motivation Truth:
I stood there listening and thinking, "This woman can be president. She has what it takes."
Hot Air:
"Dude, I think she’s running."
