Bristol gets HS diploma; eyes business degree

It can't be easy to be 18 years old, a single mom, and still manage to graduate from high school with a grade point average just .003 under the 3.5 required to have "with honors" on your diploma. Yet Bristol Palin has done so.

Bristol's mom, Gov. Sarah Palin, is both proud and relieved:
"It's been a challenging and exciting year – her senior year – and I'm just so pleased that we are where we are today."
What's next for the graduate? Bristol pans to attend college for an associate degree in business, and then have a career, perhaps in real estate.

We join with other bloggers for Sarah Palin in offering Bristol our congratulations and best wishes for success. The Palin family is always in our thoughts and prayers.
