On Monday morning Trey Grayson issued a press release announcing and listing the endorsement of 28 Kentucky state Representatives and Senators. At the very top of the list was Dan Seum, Chairman of the Majority Caucus of the Kentucky Senate. He was the BIG GET for Grayson. A huge endorsement for him.
ReplyDeleteAt noon, Rand Paul trumped Grayson by announcing Sarah Palin's endorsement.
Then, late Monday afternoon, Dan Seum (Trey Grayson's BIG GET) announced that he was withdrawing his previous endorsement of Trey Grayson and was now supporting Rand Paul. This is absolutely hilarious! (Dan Seum's statement - reversing his endorsement - is on Rand Paul's web site.)
I'm sure this is all coincidental and Sarah's endorsement had nothing to do with Seum changing his mind about which candidate to support within a matter of eight hours!
It looks like Sarahphobia exists amongst Republicans as well - fear of getting on the wrong side of Sarah!
