The banquet in The Centre's Bill Brooks Exhibition Hall has sold out of about 2,180 dinner tickets, but arrangements have been made for a satellite feed for an additional 2,500 people in the building's auditorium. This is one event Gov. Palin is not likely to pass up. The Alaska Legislature will have concluded its session by then, and there are other reasons, five of which The Sarah Palin Blog listed in a post last month.
One thing about Alaska politics: when the Democrats are at bay, the Governor doesn't need to stay.
