SarahPAC contributes to Bill Johnson in OH-6 race

*
Youngstown television station WYTV reports that Sarah Palin is getting involved in the Ohio Sixth Congressional District race for the U.S. House:
The former vice presidential candidate donated $3,500 to the campaign of Republican Bill Johnson of Poland. Johnson is running against against Democratic Congressman Charlie Wilson.

Johnson received the contribution from Palin's political action committee, known as SarahPAC. Johnson won his party's nomination in May to challenge Wilson for the Sixth District seat in November.
This is one of the races targeted in SarahPAC's "Take Back The 20" initiative, in which Gov. Palin has identified 20 lawmakers who voted for ObamaCare and represent districts she and John McCain carried in the 2008 presidential election.

Ohio's 6th congressional district was Gerrymandered in 2002 to create a safe Democratic seat for the then-incumbent Rep. Ted Strickland. It runs along the state's southeast borders with Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania from Lucasville, through several Ohio River industrial towns, to the Youngstown city limits.
