Jeanette Pryor: Palin-Shackleton Part II

Jeanette Pryor delights us with a second essay in the Palin-Shackleton theme. This time it is written in the light of recent events in NY-23. Excerpts:
The Reagan Orphans in New York’s 23rd district were told by the Good Ole Boys Party that the only way they were going to avoid handing their Congressional Seat to a liberal was to ….um…vote for a liberal.

Sarah Palin, whose “lack of sophistication” prevented her from understanding this conventional (again, no pun intended!) wisdom, decided that the best way for conservatives win an election would be to actually vote for a conservative. Uncharted waters!

Last week, Sarah’s Shackletonian leadership on full, brilliant display, reached her first destination along with the Tea Party patriots, rowing under their own power. She did this simply by being Sarah, and not a calculating, self-serving politician.
Those are just the opening stanzas. Read Ms. Pryor's essay unabridged at her personal blog here.

I am a moderate. However, after reading Jeanette's blog it is time to dust of that unused moral compass and plot a new course. To the RIGHT.
