Last night I deleted hundreds of bookmarks linking to accounts of Palin's rallies in 2008, all of her post-2008 appearances, rallies, booksigning tours, etc. Some of the links were dead, but most were still active. I was sad to read some of them about the thousands and even tens of thousands of people who turned out for these events, and since the coverage was almost all local, the reporting was very fair, neutral and sometimes very positive.
Sometimes we would concentrate more on all the negative BS flowing from MSNBC, CNN, NYT, WaPo, and even FOX, forgetting about the really excellent local news outlets. Perhaps Palin herself concentrated too much on the negative stuff.
We'll never know what could have been, but for me yesterday was both sad, but I started to accept what I cannot change.
I've been coming to this site, and several other pro-Palin sites since right after the 2008 election, but I even deleted most of them from my bookmarks as well, keeping only this one and C4P, P4A, and her Facebook page.
