When Gov. Palin signed her multi-year contract with Fox News, it was announced that not only would she provide political commentary for the cable network, but she would also host a series of specials titled "Real American Stories" which would explore inspirational real-life tales of overcoming adversity across the American landscape. The first of these specials is scheduled for Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. Texas Time:
The debut episode will include guests ranging from country singer Toby Keith, to rapper and actor LL Cool J, and former GE Chairman and CEO Jack Welch. The debut episode will also feature a Marine Medal of Honor recipient who gave his live to save his comrades and a profile of a wealthy stock broker who donated much of his fortune to underprivileged students so they can attend college.
The program will preempt Greta Van Susteren's "On the Record" Thursday night. Fox News will replay it again Sunday, at 8:00 p.m. CDST.
