Like some other blogs, we've opened a store which offers products with our logo on them. Right now, the product lineup is limited to just the basic stuff, including a bumper sticker, coffee mug, baseball cap, mouse pad and a t-shirt. But we will add more products down the road.
Zazzle, Cafe Press and other such outfits offer similar deals to bloggers. Upload your artwork, and they will provide you with an online store to sell products with your logo or message on them. While the actual profit bloggers make on each product is very small, the arrangement has the benefit of providing an instant internet storefront for bloggers with no upfront costs or having to deal with packaging, shipping, etc.
But the best benefit, from our POV is that the products provide us with a great way to promote this blog, which is why we finally got around to opening a store. Please pay it a visit here or click on the store widget in the sidebar.
