O'Reilly: Republicans had nothing to do with the murders in Arizona

Paul Krugman "is simply incapable of telling the truth"

Also on the O'Reilly Factor, libertarian commentator Bernie Goldberg said that the exploitation of the tragedy by the Democrat/Media Complex was 'as bad as anything they’ve ever done':

Sarah Palin talks immigration while O'Reilly constantly interrupts her

*
Sarah Palin talked -- or at least tried to talk -- about immigration on Friday's "Factor" program on Fox News. Trouble is, host Bill O'Reilly, who is a pompous, self-absorbed jerk, wouldn't shut up long enough for her to get even a few complete sentences out. He kept interrupting:

Politico's Jim VandeHei Denies Media Bias Against Sarah Palin

*
Here's a video of Politico co-founder Jim VandeHei telling Bill O'Reilly that's Bill Sammon's statement that most of the media dislike Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Movement is unfounded. O'Reilly wouldn't let him get away with it, saying "We have eyes, Jim":

And he said it with a straight face, too! VandeHei's own website Politico is a bastion of anti-Palin sentiment, yet his fellow travellers in the lamestream media characterize Politico as a "non-partisan" site. And if you believe that, we've got some Chrysler stock we'd like to sell you...

TV Glide: Sarah Palin Edition

*
Sarah Palin appears tonight on "The O'Reilly Factor" where she "opens up about her private life" -- according to BOR's page on the FOX News website. 7 PM and 10 PM Central.

And if we heard Sean Hannity correctly on his radio show, Gov. Palin will be on "Hannity" tonight on FOX News, although we could find nothing on the Hannity page of the FNC website to confirm this. 8 PM and 11 PM Texas Time.

Also, the former governor will make a return visit Friday to "The Oprah Show," that program's website says. She will discuss her new FOX News job with Oprah, and daughter Bristol Palin will be along to talk about "life as a single teenage mom, premarital sex and what she wants to say to young girls everywhere." As they say on teevee, "check your local listings."

Bill O'Reilly: Hammering Sarah

Bill O'Reilly has written a very good op-ed for Townhall.com on the media's war against Sarah Palin. Here are few excerpts:
It is worth noting that the left has not been able to knock Palin out despite trying very hard. A study by the Culture and Media Institute looked at a two-week period during last year's presidential campaign. During that time, the nightly network newscasts ran 18 negative stories about candidate Palin for every positive story.

[...]

Feminist Naomi Wolf and crazy-left Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson put forth the latest propaganda. Independently, they dubbed Palin the new Evita. What are the odds of Wolf and Robinson, who operate worlds apart, both referencing Argentine Eva Peron at pretty much the same time? Coincidence? Sure.

[...]

My theory is that liberal America fears Palin. Even though a CBS News poll has her approval rating at just 23 percent, a whopping 37 percent of respondents say they are still undecided about the former governor. That means millions of Americans are potential converts to her populist cause. Bad news for the left if the country turns against the Obama administration.
It's great to see O'Reilly develop a "theory" which many of us who support The Arctic Fox have recognized as fact for well over a year. But let's not be too hard on BOR. He has a large audience in the millions with many independents among them. If he can persuade these independents to take a second look at the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate, that's a good thing -- a very good thing.
