Team Sarah Planning Gatherings to View 'The Undefeated'
*
When "The Undefeated" becomes available on Pay Per View September 1, Team Sarah plans to have a number of gatherings at members' homes to watch Stephen Bannon's Sarah Palin documentary. Team Sarah, which is a project of The Susan B Anthony List, sees a golden opportunity in the release to PPV to increase the film's audience from thousands to hundreds of thousands.
To date, the film has only been shown in select theaters in a handful of cities, but in less than three weeks' time, virtually every home or conference room in the country which has access to cable or satellite television will also have access to "The Undefeated." This provides Team Sarah with a way to galvanize and mobilize its members, many of whom have been waiting for news that Gov. Palin will run for president. It also provides members with an opportunity to get their friends who are not Palin supporters to see the film. That opportunity to change hearts and minds couldn't comes at a better time, as Gov. Palin will keynote the "Restoring America" TEA Party rally in Iowa September 3.
If you're a Team Sarah member and would like to host a gathering in your home or some other location to watch "The Undefeated" on September 1, you can visit the event page on Facebook here. If you're not a a member of Team Sarah but would like to join, you can sign up here.

Can 'The Undefeated' Take Manhattan for Sarah Palin?
*
With the exceptions of a few left wing journalists, Stephen Bannon's new full-length documentary about Sarah Palin has so far been pre-screened primarily to audiences which are predisposed to give her a break, i.e., conservatives. But Wednesday, New York City, which is not exactly known as Palin country, will present “The Undefeated” with its toughest test yet.
There will be three screenings of the film in midtown Manhattan tomorrow at 1-3 p.m., 3:30-5:30 p.m. and 8-10 p.m, All at Magno Studio at 729 7th Avenue on the second floor. Bannon calls “new agenda women” one of the demographics he has targeted for changing minds about Gov. Palin. If the movie can persuade feminists to take a second look at our Sarah, then convincing political independents to reconsider the first woman to be the Republican Party's vice presidential candidate should be very doable.
Feminist website The New Agenda reports that it has tickets to the screenings which it is making available exclusively to people on the TNA mailing list. Feminists of a more conservative persuasion are likely to meet their more liberal counterparts at the screenings, as Team Sarah has reserved a larger screening room for the 8:00 p.m. showing of “The Undefeated.” According to Team Sarah, members can still get tickets by emailing teamsarahhq@gmail.com. the organization is encouraging its members who already have confirmed seating for the 8:00 p.m. screening, toe consider adding another ticket and to “bring along a Palin fence-sitter.” Limited seating is also available for the 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. screenings, according to the Team Sarah e-mail.
The official website for “The Undefeated” is here. You can follow “The Undefeated” on Facebook here and Twitter here. You can cast your vote to have “The Undefeated” shown in your hometown here.

Team Sarah wants to help pro-family group bring Palin to Iowa
Team Sarah, which has no formal ties to Palin, sent a fundraising appeal to supporters Tuesday afternoon asking them to contribute on behalf of Iowa Family Policy Center Action, which is trying to book Palin for a speech on Nov. 21. Bill Collier of Team Sarah said that IFPC Action has already raised $59,000 for the event.According to Des Moines Conservative Examiner Kevin Hall:
"As you know, we at Team Sarah have supported efforts to raise money for Sarah Palin's PAC and for the Legal Defense Fund, but this effort will actually help her and her family directly and enable her to have resources she directly controls to take care of all the things she needs to do as she launches her national effort to restore the core values of our Conservative movement," Collier wrote in the fundraising pitch obtained by CNN.
If Palin agrees to attend the event, it would be her first appearance in Iowa since she traveled to the state as the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee. Her visit to this critical presidential proving ground could be seen as a step towards a potential run for the White House in 2012.
The Iowa Family Policy Center is an influential social conservative group that promotes the sanctity of life and marriage. Palin backers hope her appearance at the November 21st event would be the first step toward a 2012 Presidential bid.Team Sarah's appeal for donations to help the Iowans bring Sarah Palin to their event is here, and the IFPC website is here. More from Des Moines Register political blogger Tom Beaumont here and The Iowa Republican's Dave Davidson here.
The former Alaska governor is wildly popular among Republicans in the Hawkeye State. She drew a crowd of 10,000 supporters to an appearance at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines last year. Palin might be the only candidate who could defeat Mike Huckabee in the 2012 Iowa Caucus.
Updates: Shane Vander Hart has several of them here.

Team Sarah delivers 1,000 roses for Sarah Palin
Gov. Sarah Palin was given a special bouquet (photos after the jump) and was aware that 1,000 roses were donated by Team Sarah and its members. A card was delivered to Gov. Palin with the flowers, and an envelope with a list of the names of all who donated was also given to her mother who was going to forward it to her. Her staff made sure that Sarah's special bouquet was retrieved and they took it with them. Again, the family was very pleased that the flowers were donated [to Basset Army Community Hospital on Ft. Wainwright], as is her tradition.Nicely done, TS.
