I've long argued that Sarah Palin is perhaps the only leading Republican who can heal the rift between conservatives and libertarians. This is an important step in the process of putting the Reagan coalition back together.She will have to improve her standing with independents and Reagan Democrats, and there has been some progress on those fronts, but Sarahcuda still a lot of work to do with those voters. However, she is working on it, and there is plenty of time to get it accomplished.

Winslow seems to be making an appeal in the best interests of those who are attacking Sarah Palin and her family so viciously:
"Sarah Palin, America's Soccer Mom icon, is fine, she'll do fine and trashing her is like trashing everyone's mom, and that's not going to work, only make her stronger and more viable. Please consider all this."I'm afraid Mr. Winslow's wise advice will be ignored by those who most need to take it seriously. They are consumed with destroying her and may well destroy themselves in the process.
