Tammy Bruce launches the Weekly 'Palin Report'

*
From Tammy's website:
Starting [today], every Friday there will be a TAM Special “Palin Report” podcast for TAMs who are also Palinistas and Ordinary Barbarians out there looking for extended commentary and analysis on events surrounding the governor. This way, we will have a more diverse weekday program and those of you who want more Palin news can get the right fix with this additional weekly special report. I do want to reiterare, however, that when there is relevant political news during the day involving Palin I will address it as events warrant, while leaving the extended analysis for the special report. The podcast timing, I imagine, will run from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on events. This new Friday “Palin Report” will be available as exclusive media for Tammy Army Members, so if you haven’t joined up yet, please do!

Jennifer Rubin: Sarah Palin as Power Broker

*
On Commentary magazine's Contentions blog, Jennifer Rubin posts that Sarah Palin "just might become the most influential king-maker in the GOP":
She has the grassroots appeal to stamp outsider candidates as authentic populists. That’s what she did today with Carly Fiorina in the hotly contested California senate primary race...

[...]

This seems significant for at least three reasons. First, Palin is now, as they say in advertising, in the business of “branding” Commonsense Conservatives, a descriptor she introduced in her memoirs.

[...]

Second, Palin endorsed Rand Paul in Kentucky, who raises concerns with many conservatives on foreign policy and national-security issues (as, of course, does Rand’s father Paul). It is significant and perhaps reassuring to national-security conservatives that Palin is giving the nod to Fiorina in her race against Tom Campbell, who’s taken a drubbing over his Israel record. And finally, as in the Rand Paul endorsement, this suggests a certain riskiness on Palin’s part.
Rubin concludes with the observation that while Sarah Palin is keeping everyone guessing about her 2012 intentions, she’s putting her political rock star reputation on the line with her endorsements. Read the full Jennifer Rubin post here.

The Book of Sarah Progress Report, Feb 27, 2010

*
We now have over 4,000 links to news stories, press releases, photos, videos, MP3s, PDFs, blog posts and websites about Sarah Palin on our reference website The Book of Sarah. Over 3,700 of these are in the main column, and the rest are sidebar links to Palin and Palin-friendly sites, plus video tributes to Gov. Palin and some miscellaneous links.

We've edited the groupings so that they are now listed by the date of the articles, rather than the date we entered them. This should make it easier to find older items you may be searching for. Just scroll down and look for the "Blog Archive" section in the sidebar.

Atricles dated prior to January, 2009, are grouped by year and month, except for those from 1996 to 2003, which are all in one group. After January 1, 2009, we began breaking articles down into five-day groups. Simply click on the group under the time period nearest to what you are looking for.

We hope these changes will make the site more useful to you.
