An Evening With Sarah Palin In The Rockies

*
Early in march, Salem Media announced that Sarah Palin would be appearing at selected stops on the Salem Radio Network's "America Unplugged" tour. The first of those stops was revealed March 15 when Salem's Chicago affiliate WIND began to promote An Evening With Sarah Palin, set for May 12 at the Rosemont Theater.

Now another Salem station, KNUS in Denver, has disclosed details of its own Evening With Sarah Palin. The event is slated for Saturday, May 22 at the University of Denver's Magness Arena. Two of Salem's syndicated talk show hosts, Dennis Prager and Hugh Hewitt, will be special guests. Ticket information can be found here. More information is on the KNUS Facebook page here.

Chicago's 560/WIND Presents An Evening With Sarah Palin

News-talk radio station WIND says it is bringing Sarah Palin to Chicago's Rosemont Theatre on May 12. The Trib's Tower Ticker blogger Phil Rosenthal reports:
Tickets for the 7 p.m. event, priced from $54 to $297, are set to go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. March 22 through Ticketmaster and the theater box office. The radio station's Web site, however, promised access to a presale for those who register through a link at 560wind.com before 9 a.m. Friday.

The format of "An Evening with Sarah Palin," according to Jeff Reisman, WIND's general manager, calls for the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee to speak for 30 minutes or so and take questions from the audience for another 30. Topics are expected to include the coming Illinois election as well as national politics.

“We are so excited to bring Gov. Palin to Chicago,” Jeff Reisman, WIND's general manager, said in a statement. “There is no stronger voice for the conservative movement than Sarah Palin, and our listeners want to hear what she has to say.”
