Quote of the Day (January 8, 2011)

Pray for the victims and their families
*
Gary P Jackson at A Time For Choosing:

"We will have plenty of time in the days ahead to go after the corrupt media and disgusting left wingers who were so quick to hurl lies and even threats at Conservatives in general, and Sarah Palin in particular, over this despicable act by a crazy man... Pray for Congresswoman Giffords' speedy recovery. The best news out of this entire situation is she survived and is expected to recover. Prayers should also be said for the family of Judge Roll, as well as the young girl who was killed, and everyone else dead or injured. That is a far better use of our time and effort. May God bless them all."

Two good posts at one of the best little websites in Texas, The Cypress Times:

Gary P. Jackson explores Sarah Palin's FOX News debut here, and Ron Devito presents a rather comprehensive list of Gov. Palin's 2009 accomplishments here.

Both are highly recommended reads.

Gary P. Jackson:

"You see that all of the lies, hate, filth, and unprecedented attacks on Sarah and her family, have had absolutely no effect on this wonderful woman’s spirit. If anything, they have only strengthened her resolve. Made her a little more powerful. Made her a little more 'dangerous' to all of those who hate freedom and liberty."

From A Time For Choosing, today's QOTD - like the post from which it is excerpted - is made out of awesome:

"Mr. Obama has been known to reward people who have successfully smeared Governor Palin."
