I think that this has been their goal for the last 2.5 years. Given the level of vitriolic hatred on a 24/7 basis, they are indeed attempting to inflame one or more of their unbalanced followers into taking a shot at Palin or one of her family members. They know that their carpetbombing of her hasn't really sloweed her down, if anything it has made her stronger. It is 2011, and they are getting desparate, they know that about the only thing that will prevent Palin from running is an attempt on her life, or the life of someone in her family.
