The lamestream media doesn't like it when Sarah Palin calls them out for their distortions, innuendo and what the governor calls "making things up" -- which is her rather polite way of saying that the media are liars. The latest example is Helen Thomas' recent comment regarding Israel, for which Gov. Palin scolded the reporter on Twitter, and Thomas promptly apologized.
But Sarah Palin let Thomas' colleagues have it with both barrels with another tweet for their failure to criticize the reporter for her remark:
Helen Thomas press pals condone racist rant?Heaven forbid"esteemed"press corps represent society's enlightened elite;Rest of us choose truthThat was simply too much for the left wing NY Daily news to abide, so it churned out this gratuitous hit piece:
WASHINGTON - A top adviser to GOP star Sarah Palin was once dispatched by ex-President Richard Nixon to sweep Jews out of government service, newly released tapes show. This is so lame on so many levels.
Nixon aide Fred Malek's role as what Democrats call a "Jew counter" for the disgraced President was already well known, and he has spent decades apologizing for activities that later cost him a Republican National Committee job in the 1980s. But he remains a prominent GOP powerbroker.
First of all, Sarah Palin was five years old when the Nixon presidency began, and she was ten when it ended, so the attempt by the Daily News to paint Gov. Palin as an anti-Semite through her rather casual association with Fred Malek is laughable. But notice how the News ran a photo of Sarah Palin right next to one of Nixon with its story in its lame attempt to link the two. The photo of Malek is smaller and located below the other two. Subtle as a sledgehammer, and a swing and a miss for strike one.
Also, Malek has never been a paid staffer for Sarah Palin. He has offered her some free advice on how to get along with the Washington establishment, and he has introduced her to some of the beltway's major players, but that's about the extent of it. He has never endorsed her for any political office, and though he likes her, at the top of Malek's list of his preferred presidential candidates is Mitt Romney. Malek is also partial to other moderates such as George Pataki, Mark Kirk, Mike Castle and Jon Huntsman. Strike two.
Finally, this NY Daily News straw man isn't even new. It's simply a regurgitation of an older smear job notorious Palin-hater Geoffrey Dunn cooked up at nutroots leftist website Huffington Post a year and a half ago. So again we have the major media getting its material from the wackosphere. It was FAIL then and EPIC FAIL now. Strike three. They're out... of their minds if they think that they can brand Sarah Palin, one the the most vocal supporters of Israel today, as an anti-Semite.
It's not for nothing that Gov. Palin calls them the lamestream media.

ReplyDeleteI once was angry with my Jewish roommate in college.
So sue me , sue me ,what can you do me....
she was star in Guys and Dolls and hit a raw note.
Oh wait...your turn , now , tell all.
This whole thing about Malek was also the subject of an email sent out by the DNC. That made me laugh since the dem party is practically owned lock, stock and barrel by George Soros, who has admitted to collaborating with Nazis in his native Hungary during WW2. His job was to travel with Nazi officers and identify Jewish owned property which was then confiscated by the Nazis.
