Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting the 2009 Midyear Issues Summit of the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission (IOGCC) in Anchorage this week. Gov Palin, a former chair of the commission messaged her thousands of followers on Twitter today that she welcomes state IOGCC members and their international affiliates to the 49th state. The theme of this event is "Stepping Lightly: Balancing Energy & the Environment."
